Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains your rights and our practices regarding refunds and cancellations for paid services on lovinahome (lovinahome.com), operated by Lovinabargain Ltd, with registered office at Unit 4 Ballinahinch Upper, Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.

1. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to cancel any paid subscription within 14 days of the start date for a full refund, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), implemented in Ireland by S.I. No. 484/2013.

Exception — digital services performed before the period ends: if you expressly request that service begin during the 14-day window (e.g. you publish a paid listing, send leads to buyers, or use the AI Property Assistant within those 14 days), you acknowledge that you forfeit the withdrawal right for that activity — but you may still cancel your subscription going forward at any time (see §3).

2. Monthly subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period. Outside the 14-day window described above, paid periods are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time — your plan remains active until the end of the current period, and no further charges are taken. We do not issue partial-month refunds.

3. How to cancel

  1. Sign in to your lovinahome account.
  2. Go to Account → Subscription.
  3. Click Cancel subscription — your access continues until your current period ends.

Or email us at billing@lovinahome.com with your account email and we will process the cancellation for you within 1 business day.

4. One-time listing upgrades

Promotional upgrades (Featured Listing, Urgent Sale Badge, Listing Boost) and the Design My Room AI pack are activated immediately on purchase and are non-refundable once delivered. If a digital pack fails to deliver due to a technical fault on our side, we issue a full refund or re-credit the pack.

5. Duplicate or unauthorised charges

If you spot a duplicate or unauthorised charge, contact billing@lovinahome.com within 60 days. We will investigate and, if confirmed, issue a refund to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

6. Refund processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via our payment processor (Stripe). Funds typically appear in 5–10 business days; longer for some bank-card networks. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is initiated.

7. VAT on refunds

When we refund a charge, we also refund the VAT that was applied and issue a corresponding credit note. EU B2B reverse-charge invoices are credited at zero VAT, mirroring the original invoice.

8. Disputes & complaints

We aim to resolve every billing complaint within 5 business days. If you remain unhappy with our response, you may refer the matter to the European Consumer Centre Ireland (ECC Ireland), or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
